Giving your pets a bath can be a difficult job. Some people like to take their pet to a groomer. Sometimes you can do it yourself too.

You need shampoo, a sponge, towels, brush and cotton balls. If you have a dog you can bathe him in a tub. Fill the tub with lukewarm water till knee level. Wet him thoroughly from head to toe. Then apply the shampoo through his body. Work up lather and clean him for at least ten minutes. Then rinse away the shampoo thoroughly. Use a wet sponge to clean his face.  Then use towels to wipe him off completely. You can also use a blow dryer for this purpose. Use the cotton balls to dry the ears. Keep him warm for some time after the bath.

If you have a cat, start with washing the face first. Use a wet cloth or sponge for this purpose. The rest of the process is the same as washing a dog. After the bath, be sure to use a good conditioner for your cat’s coat. Work it into the coat and rinse thoroughly. Then dry the coat off with a towel and a blow dryer. The coat will take a long time to dry, so keep the cat warm.

Regular grooming of your pet is very important to keep it clean and healthy. Pets usually enjoy the brushing routine. It is also a good time to bond with your pet. Grooming keeps the coat healthy by stimulating blood supply to the skin.
