Zafara

The Zafara resembles a small kangaroo in appearance. Zafaras are believed to be very talented and creative. They grow up to become famous musicians, painters and poets. Zafaras have a superb jumping ability unlike other Neopets. Surprisingly, they can also create fire, which is a characteristic of dragons. However, when they are in the Battledome, some of their unique abilities come to the fore.

The Zafara Double Agent is a spy who sells her secret knowledge to the highest bidder. She is thus regarded as a traitor who can bring harm to the Zafara community. Her real name is not known. However, she has a great fan following in Neopia and many of her fans have given her a variety of names on their own. The Double Agent first appeared in the plot, Battle for Meridell.

Delma Harrence is a Zafara who plays a Defender for the Faerieland team. She is quite good at her job and very few opponents are able to get past her. Kayla is a Zafara who has magical abilities. Some of her magic potions are capable of producing fantastic effects. She is Meridell's leading magician and she runs a shop in Meridell castle where she sells a wide variety of potions.

Neopets users can play a game called Advert Attack. In this game, players are in control of Ace Zafara. The challenge is to try and race faster than the computer-controlled Race Robot. If a player scores over 550 points, he or she will earn the Ace Zafara avatar.
