Mynci are a bunch of neopets that resemble monkeys. With their curled-up tails and mischievous grins, they are always on the lookout for someone to play their pranks on. Master Vex is a Mynci who loves to play the game of Cellblock in his spare time. He is the prison warden of Lord Darigan's prisoners. Although Vex likes his job, he rarely gets to see any daylight at all. To rid his life of the monotony, he plays Cellblock, which is a game of strategy. He promises the prisoners that he will free them if they beat him, but no one has ever managed to do that. Users challenge the opponents by paying a challenge fee with Neopoints. As the opponents get harder, the number of rounds it takes to beat them also increases.

Volgoth is a Mynci playing as Right Forward on the Mystery Island team. Volgoth is one of the best players in the game. His powerful shots are nearly impossible for goalkeepers to stop. Opponents have to make plans to ambush Volgoth in groups rather than in singles, because his huge frame cannot be stopped by one individual alone. Mynci also like to play the game of beach volleyball.
