Kougra

Kougras appear to be smaller versions of the tiger. They are the second most popular Neopets of all time, with almost 6% of pets belonging to the Kougra species. Kougras have large paws and sharp teeth. However, they are playful creatures and do not cause any harm to anyone. The Kougra appears less intimidating than a tiger because the artists have toned down the teeth and muscles. This adds to the illusion of playfulness and spontaneity.

Bertie is a Kougra playing as Centre Forward on the Mystery Island team. Bertie sets up scoring opportunities for her teammates with her accurate passes. However, she is also very good at scoring herself; whenever she gets a wide-open shot at the net, she makes good use of it.
