Korbat

Korbats are bat-like creatures. Unfortunately, there are many incorrect rumors about them in Neopia, for example, they resemble vampires and suck blood. The truth is that they are fun-loving and cute pets that venture out at night only. Some user are aware of their friendly and welcoming nature, and add them gladly to their collection. There are only about 2 million of them in Neopia, which makes them relatively rare.

Herman Dorfdrap is a Korbat who appears as an opponent during the Tale of Woe plot. He has the unique abilities of Dark Shield, Inertia, Scorch, Aura, Frost and Psychic Attack. He can also use the power of "Berserk". These abilities give this Korbat a great advantage in any battle. Lord Darigan is a Korbat who rules the Darigan Citadel. In the champions of Meridell plot, The Three corrupted Lord Darigan and turned him into a destructive maniac. However, compassion from farm girl named Sally allowed him to recover. He was then able to reclaim his title of Lord Darigan and fought back to get his kingdom back.

Kevin is a Red Korbat who plays Gormball in the Annual Gormball Championship of 2004 and 2005. He is a replacement for Dr Frank Sloth in the Arrival of Virtupets plot. The championship is held on the twenty-third day of the month of Gathering. On that day, challengers come from all corners of Neopia to win the coveted prize.
