Ixi

The Ixi are a type of Neopets that are known for intelligence and sharp thinking. They are also very agile and they can leap and bound through the forest at an incredible speed. Ixi were initially limited edition pets, but now there are quite a few of them in Neopia. Ixi belong to Meridell and are found all over Neopia.

Ixi are generally good at sports because of their swiftness. Ilsa is an Ixi playing as a defender on the Meridell team in the 2006 Altador Cup. This talented defender is feared by opponents because of her deft moves and touch passes. She can score from otherwise impossible positions also. Nabile is an Ixi who was introduced in the Lost Desert Plot. Nabile belongs to a gang of skilled thieves and is very mischievous.

Sinsi is a popular Ixi who likes to create puzzles for her friends. She is the creator of Shapeshifter, in which users have to use different shapes to make all the icons their own color. The game provides an opportunity to earn Neopoints. Word of Sinsi's new games spreads rapidly throughout Meridell. Soon, everyone rushes to solve her brainteasing puzzles. Her creative puzzles have made her famous in Neopia.

Another popular Ixi is Sophie, who is introduced in Neopets: The Darkest Faerie. She lives alone in Meridell and likes to scare other Neopets or even turn them into Petpets.
