Grarrl

The Grarrl was the first Neopet ever drawn. Grarrls are dinosaur-like pets with huge appetites. Grarrls do appear fierce and intimidating but are quite popular among users, simply because they have a lot of strength and can defeat any opponent. However, the Grarrl must be kept well-fed in order to keep it happy and strong.

Galgarroth is a Darigan Grarrl. He was introduced to users in the Battle for Meridell and Champions of Meridell plots. Galgarroth served as second-in-command to Lord Darigan and commanded his armies. Galgarroth does not like that the prisoners under his command should play games such as Cellblock, but he still allows it sometimes. Galgarroth has been given different names like Draconian Grarrl, Draconian General, Galgaroth and Galgarrath, but his official name is Galgarroth.

The Grarrl Trooper, Gragarex, is one of the evil Grarrls who is featured in The Tyrannian Invasion. Gragarex creates fear and havoc among other neopets, leaving them running for their lives. On the other hand, Torakor (also known as The Gladiator) is a one of the heroes in Grarrl world. He features in the plot, Neopets: The Darkest Faerie, and is also a hero in the Altador Cup. He has physical strength, coupled with a strong sense of virtue. He is clearly one of the legends of Neopia.

Grarrls come in 40 different colors, the most unique of which are Robot, Royal, Pirate, Plushie, Mutant and Baby. More than 4 million Grarrls have been created.
