Gnorbu

Gnorbus are funny pets who can make others laugh with their antics. In appearance, they resemble Llamas; in fact, they were initially released as an April Fool's joke by Neopets. Neopets has a tradition of releasing such pets on April Fool's Day. Some of these pets are pretty weird looking, some are cute, while others are just downright hideous looking. The Gnorbu is one of the cuter April Fool's pets. Gnorbus are actually "limited edition" pets, with only about 590 thousand of them in existence.

Gnorbus are extremely social creatures who enjoy going out with friends. They love to go shopping in the shops of Neopia Central. Their favorite spot in Neopia Central is the Neopia Plaza, the shopping section which contains random stores and sections. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The colors are also pretty unique, from the earthy Brown Gnorbu to the pure White Gnorbu. In all, they are featured on 27 different items and are available in 18 different colors.

Derlyn Fonnet is a Gnorbu who plays in 2006's Altador Cup as Left Defender for the Kreludor team. This Gnorbu is much respected for her aggressive tackling and offensive abilities; she is clearly one of the best talents in the game.Even though she is a defender, her deft touches and incredible passes have left many forwards simply rooted to their spot.
