Eyrie

Eyries are ferocious pets that live in tropical forests. However, they also have a playful side to their nature and they are never shy of taking part in adventurous activities. Initially, the Eyrie appeared very dragon-like and fierce. Over the years, Eyries were gradually made less dragon-like by getting rid of their scales, horns and leathery wings.

Cap'n Threelegs is a Pirate Eyrie who trains Neopets. He lost his leg during a fight; no one is sure about the authenticity of these claims by Threelegs. According to most of the other Eyries, the stories of his exploits are just tall tales.In exchange for accepting this job, Threelegs was cleared of any prosecution for all the crimes he committed when he was sailing. Now, this Eyrie lives a less adventurous life and passes on his wisdom to the younger generation.

Eyreiki is an Eyrie who was released from his tomb by an archeologist. This Eyrie is quite evil and had made plans to destroy the city of Sakhmet, but he was eventually defeated and placed back in his tomb. Lord Kass is an Eyrie who took over the reins of Darigan Citadel after Lord Darigan's defeat. He is one of the central protagonists of the plot, "Battle for Meridell".

Eyries are among the most common Neopets, with 6.5 million of them being created. They are also featured in 91 items and come in 35 different colors.
